So, all day today i have been working on my ‘PIAT.’ That stands for ‘Putting It All Together.’ This is a presentation that i have to create that is somewhat like a business plan for my store. The idea is that I have to create a plan that will work to fix a business need that my store has… then i will present it to my District Manager and we will discuss it. It is sort of like my final exam of my training period. My DM will count me as ‘finished with training’ and will mark me as being ready for a store.
I know that I will pass without any problems; and I hope to have my own store by February… the only thing is that I still have to work on this thing today, tonight after work and tomorrow morning. My meeting is at 9am in the morning and I am nowhere near completed. I decided to take a break and took a few pics of the dogs.

Well, I know you did great. As I prayed for you this morning I just thank God for how much he has gifted you and blessed you in your career. It am so honored to be your mom. Wow, a store of your own! Pretty cool!

i thought i’d do an update… it went REALLY well! He said my presentation was phenomenal! We had some great diologue between the three of us (me my manager-Renee, and my boss-Tesh). It was a great time and I really felt like I was prepared and had great points to bring up.

Congratulations! So glad to hear things went well. Would you be willing to give the entire family your presentation when you all come out after Christmas? I know your mom and I would love to hear it and I am sure everyone else would also. I have a projector you could use. I could also bring the expresso maker home and perhaps we could all have egg-nog lattes or something like that—your mom prefers the gingerbread lattes… but actually I just realized I like the peppermint mochas… single shot, no whip cream—tall that is.

ha! thanks guys… i think the presentation would be pretty uneventful since we talked alot about numbers, priorities, projections, goals and such relating to our business. It was like a business meeting.
I am all about making ESPRESSO during christmas, though. maybe i should get a part-time job at the junction over the holidays…
I think most of us would still really love to hear it…..numbers and all. I’m not scared. of numbers, i mean.
