We knew it wouldn’t last forever, but each day we would turn on our tv or log on to our email and be amazed that our cable was still going.

You see, we never called to turn cable on when we moved December 1st….it just magically was still on!

But as luck would have it, the internet stopped. Boo. And now we are undecided on how to continue…call them up and get started? Look into a different company? Go without? Use our cell service to tether a network? We are trying to eliminate and/or lower as many bills as we can right now.

Bleh. So, as I’m typing this with my phone, bear with me as I might be gone for a while. There’s only so much I can do on my phone before I get frustrated with typing with one finger and staring at a teeny screen. Such first world problems!!!

Don’t worry, the shop is still up and running as I can still recieve orders and emails. Have a great week, all.

As you know we are tv free, and we get our internet service through hub’s work. Because of that we somehow get about 15 channels on the tv, too. We never watch them though! TV-free is so much easier than I ever thought it would be and we get so much stuff done because of it. Internet-free is not so good. I think I would go insane. Any good wi-fi places around you? A generous neighbor who’s service you could hook into?

*Wireless service, I meant. Not the stealing cable kind of thing.

We have slowly decreased our tv package down to the min channels over the years- yes, very easy. But internet free, not so much! We definitely tried to find some nearby networks to bum off of, to no avail. :(

It’s amazing how much internet you use, besides the leisurely browsing: listening to music, watching netflix, researching stuff. Ack!

  4. That happened to us too! It even moved with us when we moved, but it eventually got turned off. My parents got free cable for 11 years through crossed wires!
